The definitions collected in the Glossary have usually been quoted from various sources. The source is given after each definition.

The pictures are either produced by the Editor, and thus copyrighted, or are coming from other sources. The source is mentioned with every picture.

Since no financial and no commercial interests are involved in this site, reference to commercial companies and their proprietary products is made only to provide meaningful examples of some of the concepts cited in the mentioned pages.

Great efforts are taken to provide information of a high scientific quality, with the only intent to produce some overview of the selected subject of an Issue. Documents are not proposed as reports on personal scientific experiments, but as reviews on the subject of the Issue. The sources are always cited and, whenever possible, reported and cumulated in the Resources pages.
